Naomi Shaddox, the company founder and Design Director, began her career in fashion design. She formed Hydra Fashion in Dallas in 1998. This apparel company designed, manufactured and distributed contemporary woman’s wear throughout the United States. During this time she developed an increasing passion for integrating fabrics into interior spaces. With over 10 years experience in apparel and her love for interior design she formed The Couture Drapery Company in Plano Texas in 2002.
Naomi earned a National Diploma in Fine Art and Fashion Design from The Cheltenham College of Art and Technology in England. A Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from the London College of Distributive Trades, and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of North Texas.

Ken Shaddox is the co-founder of the Company and serves as Project Manager. Ken has over 10 years experience in project management, sales and marketing in a variety of fields including the fashion and drapery industries. He received his education in Dallas, Texas where he received an Associate of Applied Science from Richland College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Miki Le is the Senior Production Manager for the company. Miki has 8 years experience in drapery manufacturing and before that she worked as a garment construction specialist for a swimwear company. Miki is a registered nurse in Japan and earned her degree at Kosei Koto Kango College in Tokyo.
